My weight is the highest it’s been in probably 10 years since I found out about keto. I was struggling with weight loss and hormones, you know all the fun stuff that comes with being in your 40’s.
Today, I’m fasting until dinner. I’m making a tri-tip roast on the traeger and I have kefir milk with added collagen ready to go.
I’m trying to figure out exactly how I want to keep track of this challenge. It’s not only eating and fasting, but exercise and stress reduction measures as well.
I forgot to check my HRV (heart rate varibility) with Elite HRV this morning. According to fitbit it was 16, that’s about as low as I go. I had a stressful day yesterday, plus all the junk food and beer really took a toll on me.
I know stevia has a big affect on my glucose. A higher glucose will prevent weight loss because it will cause insulin to be released even without food. That can affect my hormones and make me retain water weight.
I’m going to drink stevia-containing products all day, but consume zero carbs and see how it affects my weight and glucose levels for tomorrow morning’s measurement. Then tomorrow I’m going to consume zero stevia and carbs and see how it affects the next day’s glucose and weight measurements.
I’m using the Fitbod app for keeping track of workouts. I got a years subscription and plan to use it for the whole year.
I did a push workout this morning. It uses AI and makes the workouts adapted to the input, so it’s still gathering information so my workouts will change a lot over the next few weeks. I love it so far.
Well, this about does it for a general diet overview. I need to post my actual weight, food calories, and workout record in another post or two or more, lol. I would like to come back and see an overview so I need to make a post with a running total of hrv, weight, glucose and whatever biometrics I can come up with for the day.
I’m also getting 10,000 steps in a day and I’ve almost reached my goal for today.
I even got almost 7 hours of sleep yesterday, I need to figure out a way to increase that. The more sleep I can get the easier it’ll be to lose weight and heal my body from stresses. Exercise is stress, healthy stress.
