I’m starting to falter after doing so well. I’m going to write in my blog here every day to hold myself accountable. I don’t like having to write I failed to stop myself from eating chocolate. That seems to be my downfall. Chocolate chips especially. Need to stay away from the M&M’s.
The only exercise I did today was Rebounding for 20 minutes, and some shoulder/bicep dumbbell work.
I started about 4-5 grams/day of creatine a month ago. So far I don’t notice any difference. I think it can take a couple of months to saturate my cells.
Starting tomorrow I’m going strict on the carnivore and exercising for the month of March. Then in April, I’m going to do a couple of fasts to help get some of the extra weight off.
I really like this carnivore diet. I also like to throw in a little lettuce or a veggie of that sort for salads or roll-ups. No kale or spinach anymore because of oxalates. One of the main reasons I need to stop the chocolate. I had no idea oxalates were causing me so many problems until I stopped.
I’m also cutting out most lectins and phytates. I figure cutting it down to about 10% of my former use will make a big difference.
That’s about it, a post to boost my morale and get me motivated to do a whole month without a glitch.
34-day challenge
Feb 26th through March 31st. No processed sugar.
Diet parameters for March 2021
What I’m adding to my diet next month is apple cider vinegar every day, and half those days be switchel.
Switchel is a mix of apple cider vinegar, blackstrap molasses, lemon juice and/or citric acid, cardamon, or an apple/pumpkin spice blend.
No artificial sweetener, I’ve been using a lot of stevia lately.
Only cold drinks. No hot coffee, tea. I want to see if it affects gum health.
Intermittent fasting (IF) 16-20 hours a day. Have to do a 34-day streak.
I need to do more cardio. I’ve been walking 10,000 steps a day without missing a day since the end of Jan. I was going to up it, but I think I’ll keep it for the month of March.
I might add more rowing, or add HIIT to my rowing. I don’t know yet, still feeling really lazy. I’m going to plug away at it.
