I want to keep track of all of my workouts by using the Fitbod App this year. I got the app about 6 weeks ago and paid for a 1-year subscription.
No 2 workouts are the same. It has such a variety of exercises and I have a well-equipped home weight room to use. This makes it so much fun. I have no idea how much weight I need for each exercise, but the app has an AI that uses an average algorithm based on other people with the body stats that I input into the app.
It allows me when I get a new exercise to let it know the difficulty level so the app can decide a better weight idea for the next workout.
I’m currently doing a push/pull/legs bodybuilding workout plan. I intend to stick with this for quite a while.
Where it says jumping jacks, that the rebounder. I can only use what is already added and jumping jacks are as close as I can find for an alternative. It needs to stay consistent for the AI so I can’t add my own, but I can request an exercise or piece of equipment to be added.
They seem to update the app a lot, so I expect a lot of changes to the app over the coming year.
I love this app, it’s making working out so much more fun, and I have sore muscles in strange places. I’ve been using the same exercises for a long time and branching out using a few different ones, even though they use the same muscle group is making a big difference.
