Instagram Fitbod puts up stories of others people’s generated workouts. It’s so interesting how much different they are compared to mine.
Of course, most people have a gym to go to. I have a home gym so I have a barbell, dumbbells, a low and high cable pully, and some bands, that’s about it. Nothing fancy.
I like that I let the app know my gym equipment to work with so it generates the workouts around that. I’ve been getting workouts online in the past and have been forced to look for alternative exercises for every one of them.
Some exercises aren’t added, not sure if they can because of the algorithm. Nothing AI can simulate real life, it can only guess.
I’m doing a lot of exercises I’ve never done before like the Cable Pull Through. The way I thought it’s to be done is to bend the knee a little, but the videos online have people showing the movement with straight legs, so I need to change that.
Handle band crunch is too easy. I think it told me to do like 10 reps, I did 25 and still had plenty more in the tank. I think I’ll switch those out for cable.
I can only lower the squat from 16.5″ to 12″. I might try that. I don’t think there’s a problem with doing it higher.
There’s no cable calf raise on the app. That’s what I used instead of a barbell, same weight recommendation.
I’ve never done a deadlift before, always a rack pull. I was using 130 lbs, but backed off to 110 lbs because of my lower back and left knee. Hopefully, that’ll get stronger over the months to come.
The jumping jack is the rebounder because they don’t have that on Fitbod.
I think that about covers it for this workout, tomorrow is a push workout. Bench press, push-ups, shoulder press. Exercises that require pushing.
I video’d today’s workout.
