Not sure if I should call it diet or health. I’m going with diet because even though I think they exercise they don’t make it part of their schtick.
This isn’t a list of my most favorite to least. I’m listing them as they come to mind. I can always make a new list when I come across other people who influence my way of eating.
Not all of these are strictly diet influencers, but health in general. You can’t have health without a proper diet.
I’m listing them by their latest videos and why I think they are worth listening to at the least and following their advice at the most.
I’ve learned the most about fasting and the health benefits from Dr. Jason Fung. He talks a lot about the benefits of a low-carb diet, mostly meats. He has written a few books. I’m only familiar with “The Obesity Code.”
Also big on fasting is Dr. Mindy Pelz. Lots of info about overall nutrition.
Dr. Karl Goldkamp is a naturopathic doctor. I like to listen to him because I learn a lot about orthomolecular biology. He says he’s keto, but he’s pretty much carnivore. He started to make a lot of videos lately, I hope he keeps it up.
Judy Cho, NTP is one of my all-time favorites. A good person to listen to for gut health. I’m learning a ton reading her book “Carnivore Cure”. She used to be a vegan and suffered all kinds of health problems because of it, now she pretty much lives on meat.
Dr. Ken Berry. I like his info, he’s big on meat. Calls it the proper human diet. His about page says his videos are about low-carb/ketogenic/carnivore diets, intermittent fasting, thyroid health, hormone optimization, and much more.
Dr. Eric Berg, DC is probably the most popular health dude on youtube.
I’ve learned a lot from Thomas DeLauer. I like that it’s science-based so it’s easy to look up the information he presents to find further research.
Dr. Shawn Baker doesn’t pull any punches. I think he’s been fucked with one too many times. Most definitely eats a meat-based diet. Calls those idiot vegans out on their mental illness. I read his book, “The Carnivore Diet” a few months ago. It’s a very simple-to-understand book. I’ll sum it up, stop starving yourself on crap and eat food that heals.
